4 of 5 Horseware Micklem Bridle September 21, 2017
Reviewer: Emily Adams from London, ON Canada
After reading other reviews on line, I was prepared that quality perhaps wasn't the highest.  Leather is soft, but could be thicker and more padded which would really make it lovely.  Ordered in black, as using for dressage - not keen on the brass fittings, wish they were silver.  Was easy to assemble and fit.  Fit could be better for our mare - to fit the check pieces around the check bone correctly, the nose band is a bit too low according to instructions.  We ordered a full size, which is what she wears normally.  She is lighter in hand but a little less consistent maintaining frame on downward transitions, but only used it 4 times, so we both may adjust.  She doesn't want to rub her nose anymore on her leg, so she must be comfortable.  She had never worn a flash before, but did not mind the chin strap.  Have not lunged in it yet, but really like that it can be used for this as well.  It is a great option - recommend to anyone who's horse seems bothered by a traditional bridle.

5 of 5 Micklem Diamante Competition Bridle August 29, 2015
Reviewer: Kate Loghrin from Stratford, ON Canada
I purchased the Micklem Diamante Competition Bridle is great, my mare (Friesian/TB x Hanoverian) has shown no signs of disliking the bridle and I have been using it a week now.
I went with the Large Horse size due to the brow band size and cheek pc size the standard would have been too small.

*Great Leather-I did oil it prior to use and I wipe off after every use-but this is my typical practice for my new tack
*Super comfortable-large padded poll area; nose pc padded
*Reins are a softer rubber not the stiff kind therefore very easy to use-they don't feel bulky
*Great look and FEI approved

Price tag is steep but what horse items aren't but if it helps keep my horse comfortable then it is definitely worth it
